It actually feels like a relatively quiet one for new music this week; especially in comparison to the BOUNTIES that have been offered up over the last couple of months. But there’s still plenty of the good stuff: BEKA, who featured on joan‘s Brokenhearted earlier this year, has released her own new bop My One, and I really, really love it. My early fave of the week!

Elsewhere, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé has brought out solo ‘single album’ R, comprised of A-side On The Ground and bonus treat Gone. The main track, in particular, is a right treat.

I’ll do a separate round-up of the best Eurovision 2021 entries once the last ones have been released, but for now I’ll chuck the James Newman track on here because, again, it slaps. KSI, YUNGBLUD and Palo G have put out the extremely slick Patience; KEiiNO (pictured) are back with the relatively wistful Unbreakable; and Gwen Stefani continues her new era with Slow Clap.

Finally, Hey Violet are back! I loooved their debut album a few years ago. Friends Like This is out now.
