We’re only a couple of weeks out now from the next stage of the phased re-opening of Zara Larsson‘s second album campaign: Poster Girl fffffinally lands on March 5, and a new teaser song has landed.
Anyone who struggled to connect with Talk About Love (not me, I loved it!) and who misses the likes of All The Time will be glad to hear Look What You’ve Done; a nice big pure-pop belter with a touch of the Clean Bandits about it.
It’s co-written with Steve Mac and Kamille, so you know we’re in extremely safe hands.
Listen below.
This new album has been a long time coming: its lead single, Ruin My Life, is a couple of years old.
“At this point I just want people to hear my new music and I want to stop being so scared of how it’s going to go,” she told NME recently.
“Because honestly, what could go wrong? That I sell one album? If that happens, I’ll make another one – that’s how I see it now. And that’s how I’ve been seeing it the whole time I was growing up in this industry.
“But because my first [global] album was So Good – literally! – I felt pressured, I really did.
“And then eventually, I was like, ‘Nah, you can’t keep going on like this because the longer you wait to release this album, the less people are gonna care anyways. So just fucking release it because it’s great, it’s fun and it’s my form of escapism.”
