The Masked Singer UK judging panel… kinda slaps?

The Masked Singer UK is inevitably on its way to ITV after some surprising success in the US, and the judging panel for our version sounds… really good?

By which I mean, Davina McCall and Rita Ora are on it.

Rita is staying BOOKED AND BUSY well into 2020, folks! And I, for one, am always happy to see the original self-styled “Big Muvva” back on prime time television.

Joining the legends will be Ken Jeong – a great addition to the US panel, but perhaps unlikely to know who the UK Z-list contestants are?! – and Jonathan Ross. Joel Dommett is hosting.

The Masked Singer, which had Nicole Scherzinger on its panel in the US, sees a load of celebrities dress up in quite extraordinary animal costumes (stay with me), performing week-on-week without their real identities being revealed.

It’s not until they are eliminated from the competition that their masks are removed and their identities are finally known.

Will the British press spoil the fun by ~revealing their identities ahead of schedule? Probably! Will the line-up be a load of cack? Almost definitely! But let’s see how this pans out.
