New Music Friday: Laura Mvula! Måns! Delta! Foxes! And more!

It’s a slightly late New Music Friday round-up this week because I was, oh you know, interviewing Miranda Cooper this morning (hear our chat on this Sunday’s Top 50 Girlband Singles results show!!). But there’s some lovely stuff out; most of it slightly below the major-label radar.

First, though, Laura Mvula has pulled another exceptional song out the hat, mere WEEKS after her last one. Church Girl is stunning. Just saw that her album isn’t out until July. JULY!!! How can I wait until July?!

Also great: Nostalgia is a fantastic midtempo electrobop from Xan Griffin – who releases via Xenomania. Foxes has put out a nice little ditty called Kathleen, Måns Zelmerlöw has unveiled a Radio 2-esque track called Come Over Love, there’s a fantastic clap-back-banger by the name of You Don’t Know Me by the ever-brilliant Kelli-Leigh, and finally Delta Goodrem‘s put out her latest grown-up-pop song Billionaire. It’s not a billion miles away from ABBA, actually, in terms of sweeping DRAMA.
