Kelly Clarkson‘s Kellyoke segment shows no signs of ceasing to be brilliant, and her new take on Kacey Musgraves‘s Rainbow could not have come at a more pointed moment tbqh!!!!

In what has generally been an all-round fucker of a week, Kelly covered this absolutely gorgeous track for The Kelly Clarkson Show – I came across it today while SuRfInG tHe WeB and it’s smacked me right in the chops.

While I’ve got you, she also did an excellent spin on Selena Gomez’s Rare – it’s totally different to the also-excellent original; she sounds exasperated and pretty pissed off on it, actually, and I can totally buy her confronting an exhausting individual with it. Whomstever that may be!!!!!!!!!!!

“I’m not gonna beg for you,” she declares. “I’m not gonna let you make me cry.” I fucking believe her!

Her next album cannot come soon enough.
