Good news for Jazmine Sullivan and the first great album of 2021 (even though it’s being referred to by some as a really long EP).

Heaux Tales is her first body of work since 2015’s Reality Show, and it’s doing pretty well in the US market so far.

According to That Grape Juice, it’s gunning for a combined sales-plus-streaming total of 39,000 units; of which 7,000 are pure sales. That currently puts it on course to bow at No5 – and if it holds, it’ll be her first Top 5 entry on the chart.

Her previous best was a No6 bow for Fearless back in 2008; after which 2010’s Love Me Back and 2015’s Reality Show made numbers 17 and 12 respectively.

The final placements on this week’s Billboard 200 will be announced early next week.
