Drag Race UK: United Kingdolls’ UK Hun? holding steady in final midweek update

Good news for the United Kingdolls of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: they are holding steady in the final midweek chart update before this week’s final rankings are published on Friday.

In Monday’s half-way-point flash, they were at No25 with the incessantly catchy UK Hun?; and in today’s latest figures, they are… exactly the same. That’s actually pretty impressive, considering all the other big names who released songs last Friday have lost ground over the last couple of days.

Dua Lipa‘s We’re Good, for example, is now just one spot ahead of UK Hun? at No24 (it was No20 on Monday), while Rita Ora and P!nk‘s latest efforts have slipped out of the Top 40 altogether.

Taylor Swift’s new version of Love Story is now showing at No7; and the midweek leaders Lil TJay and 6LACK have been replaced by the incumbent Olivia Rodrigo at No1.

If UK Hun? can hold firm, it’ll outdo the Frock Destroyers‘ No35 peak for Break Up Bye Bye back in 2019 – but it’s worth pointing out that they slipped from a midweek position of No24 at the time.

Basically, as long as the Kingdolls can stay in the Top 40 over the final 48 hours of tracking, it’ll be a mega achievement.
