Destiny calling: Malta replace Switzerland as bookies’ Eurovision favourites

The Eurovision betting has had another little shake-up as a couple more songs have landed.

Earlier this week, Switzerland’s ballad Tout l’Univers by Gjon’s Tears was ahead of the pack; with Iceland’s Dadi Freyr dropping to sixth and Bulgaria’s Victoria remaining near the top in second place.

Now that Malta’s Destiny has brought out her track, Je Me Casse, however, all bets are off.

(Well, that’s a lie, all bets are very much on, but you know what I mean.)

With Betfair, Malta are now on 11/4 (2.75/1), and Switzerland are on 7/2 (3.5/1).

Interestingly, though, the two are tied with other firms: William Hill and SkyBet, for example, have them on identical 3/1 odds.

Buglaria’s Victoria follows on 7/1, with France’s Barbara Pravi on 8/1 and Italy’s Måneskin on 9/1 – tied with Sweden’s Tusse.

The United Kingdom, in case you’re wondering, are on 100/1.
