Demi Lovato is putting out new music in mere days, alongside Sam Fischer.

The pair have duetted on a track called What Other People Say, and it’s due to drop this Thursday – February 4.

Fischer tweeted: “WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY with the incredible @ddlovato. OUT THURSDAY. what an insane thing to type, my god I can’t wait for u all to hear this song.”

Posting on Instagram, Demi said: “these lyrics are so special to my heart… I can’t wait to share this one with you.”

Fischer, for those unfamiliar, definitely has a singer-songwriter-y/acoustic-y vibe going on (in a good way!!!); so expect this to be a different kettle fish to, say, Demi’s Marshmellow collab from last year (below).

She impacted the UK Top 40 twice in 2020; once with the low-key bop I Love Me, and again with Sam Smith on the under-rated I’m Ready. Her last full album, Tell Me You Love Me, came out in 2017. Incidentally you can re-live her greatest deep cuts here.
