More chart glory for Sarah Harding: she has entered the Top 3 of the UK’s most high-profile book chart.
Her Ebury-published memoir Hear Me Out is at No3 on the Sunday Times Bestseller List, specifically the ‘general hardback’ rundown. She’s behind only the inescapable The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy, and Stacey Solomon’s new one Tap to Tidy.
Sarah’s estimated sales are 8,935; just 1,500-ish behind Stacey. The Insta-friendly The Boy, The Mole, Etc was way out in front with 17k. I have absolutely no idea what counts as good in terms of book sales, but that seems decent?!
It’s worth noting that these numbers are for the week ending March 20 (if I’ve understood correctly) – so seeing as Sarah’s book only came out on the 18th, that’s some pretty good going.
Book chart fans(?) may be interested to know that Michelle Obama’s Becoming remains top of the general paperback list, while Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club tops hardback fiction and The Sentinel by Lee Child and Andrew Child triumphs in paperback fiction.
Sarah also released a new/old bop last week, Wear It Like A Crown, in support of a very good cause.
