Looks like a Demi Lovato x Ariana Grande collab is actually happening

Following recent speculation, it’s looking pretty certain that a Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande collaboration is actually happening.

And with Demi’s album out on April 2, it seems it’s happening SOON.

Whispers started when Ari shared some vocals she was recording, saying in a caption that they were “backgrounds on a song for a friend”. Demi had responded with a few sneaky-eye emojis.

Now, a screenshot is doing the rounds of Demi DMing a fan with a single smiley-face emoji when asked if Ariana is the “last minute collab” she had previously teased.

Plus, with a recent New York Times interview with Demi directly referencing it, it looks like we’re on.

It makes sense: both Ari and Demi are looked after by Scooter Braun, and are known to be chummy.

Dancing With The Devil: The Art of Starting Over will feature 17 songs, including last year’s Anyone, and new Sam Fischer duet What Other People Say.

Songs like Still Have Me and I Love Me seem like they may have been left on the cutting room floor, unless the end up as deluxe bonus tracks.

Demi’s documentary, also called Dancing With The Devil, is out next week (March 23).
