Get ready for Jesy Nelson to properly return to the spotlight: she has just signed with a global management company.
YMU also look after acts like Take That and Steve Aoki, and now have the NTA-winning former Little Mix legend on their books.
In a statement yesterday, Jesy said: “I am so excited to join YMU and can’t wait to start my next chapter.”
That’s about it for now – there’s no mention of solo music release plans yet. But of course she’s been posting multiple shots of herself and producers Patrick Jordan Patrikios and Sunny on Instagram in recent weeks.
The CEO of YMU, Mary Bekhait, said: “Jesy has enjoyed incredible success as a recording artist and performer and is well placed to further her remarkable career.”
Little Mix, meanwhile, will release new music this spring; and will finally tour their Confetti album in 2022. They recently spoke about how their LM5 era was “tarnished” by behind-the-scenes label drama.
