I’ve been ALL OVER the new Zara Larsson album since it came out last week, and the good news is she plans to release another one extremely soon.
Poster Girl was finally unveiled last Friday, more than two years after its lead single Ruin My Life, and almost four years after its predecessor So Good.
“That momentum is not there. I’m not Rihanna,” she told The Independent earlier this week.
“People won’t wait like that in the pop world. The pop world moves fast. So I’m starting over in a way.
“I’m like, ‘Hey guys, what’s up? I’m alive.’”
She has also told The Sun: “It is so easy to look back and think, ‘Why didn’t I release an album every year?’ But I didn’t feel comfortable. I didn’t think it made sense. I am happy and very proud.”
“I want to release an album next year and the year after that.”
Poster Girl was at No10 in Monday’s midweek update, and she’s recently performed the title track for MTV.
