I’ve had a lovely weekend BATHING in the new Zara Larsson album, and the title track was performed for a special MTV Fresh Out outing over the weekend.

Poster Girl is about being extremely off-brand in falling for a special someone (“I’m not the poster girl for feelings, but with you I can’t stop”) and it’s got some great little throwaway phrases in the lyrics; most notably “HOLY SMOKES!” at the top of the chorus.

Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels are among the co-writers, and this is one of multiple songs on the album that would make a great single.
