Una Healy hopes for Saturdays reunion, stans the Megamix

Una Healy has talked about her hopes for a Saturdays reunion at some point in the not-too-distant future.

The group had a stealth disbandment in 2014; one of those splits that’s shrouded in declarations of “yeah, yeah, we’re not breaking up” and then you realise they’ve been on “a break” for a little while and that seems to be that.

Now, though, speaking to The Sun as she releases her own new solo single (scroll down to hear that), she’s said she’d “love” to perform with Frankie, Rochelle, Mollie and Vanessa again, and she wonders if this year’s planned JLS reunion tour might be the thing to persuade them.

“More than one [band member has] said, ‘Wouldn’t it be lovely to do something again?’ I reckon it will happen,” she said.

“I would love to do something with the girls again so we will see. I hope so while we are still fresh and young. I think it would nice to do it sooner rather than later.

“We have some great songs. Someone sent me a link to the Megamix the other day and is it bad to say I was fangirling to it myself? I actually love that music. It’s so uplifting. I would love to get back out there.”

She added of JLS: “We’ll probably go to the show with Rochelle and watch JLS and I guess that we’ll get quite nostalgic while we’re there and might have a chat then.”

While we wait, you can re-live the group’s 12 greatest non-singles here.
