She’s leant her vocals to a new version of the song 2 Far Gone by Moses Boyd; and Christ it’s so good to have her voice in the world again. Listen below.
The track first appeared on Boyd’s 2020 album Dark Matter as an instrumental. It’s the most-streamed song from that collection on Spotify, with 1.2 million spins in its original form.
It’ll soon be five years since Katy B’s last album, 2016’s Honey; which featured the massive No1 Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) alongside KDA and Tinie Tempah. She was last heard making an appearance on JD Reid‘s song Call Your Bluff, from the album Tree, in 2018.
Her 2014 opus Little Red, which featured 5AM and Crying For No Reason, remains an absolute masterpiece.
