Oh, hello! Måns Zelmerlöw and Polina Gagarina are releasing a new song later this month – in support of the ISU World Figure Skating Championships.
The Eurovision faves – who both competed in 2015 – will unleash their single Circles And Squares on Friday February 19, with a video to follow on February 28 (h/t escxtra).
Måns, of course, won with Heroes when they went head-to-head in Vienna; while Polina’s excellent enormoballad A Million Voices finished second.
The former co-wrote this new track alongside Stefan Örn, David Lindgren Zacharias, Sandra Bjurman and Jon Eyden. Örm and Bjurman are Eurovision royalty too: they penned the 2011 winner Running Scared for Azerbaijan.
In a statement, Måns said: “When we wrote the song, we wanted to match the drama and dramaturgical dynamism of figure skating. I really think that we’ve created a song for the ice.”
And Polina added: “For me, this co-operation is not only about travelling to beautiful Sweden, where the World Championships are being held, but also about getting into the world of figure skating.
“I really admire the skaters. Everything they do seems impossible and fantastic to me. I’m delighted that Måns and I are singing the main track for this major event.”
