There’s only a fortnight left of The Masked Singer – and it seems last year’s winner Nicola Roberts will be there at the end as a guest judge.
The Girls Aloud icon’s stint as Queen Bee in series one made her an easy choice for the winner, and a report today suggests she’ll help Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and breakout newbie Mo Gilligan to figure out the final three’s identities. Lord knows they need it.
A source told the Daily Star: “Producers thought it would be really fun to have Nicola back on the show. She was thrilled to be asked and jumped at the chance to return.
“Nicola knows what it’s like to perform inside one of the costumes and try to keep the panel guessing. And she knows better than anyone what the contestants are thinking.

“Producers were hoping that would mean she could approach the game from a different angle and come up with some good guesses.”
Of the final five, two will go this weekend (guest judge Matt Lucas is tagging along for the ride), and the three remaining candidates will sing the week after that.
Robin is the only act left who hasn’t ever been in danger of going, while Badger and Harlequin have been fine since losing their head-to-heads in their respective opening episodes. Sausage was in the bottom two on the week Martine McCutcheon was exposed as the Swan, while Dragon has been at risk for the last two weeks.
As long as Harlequin makes it to the end, I’m good.
