While the clue packages do feel slightly tougher this year, there are certain contestants on The Masked Singer UK who are becoming easier and easier to identify – though you wouldn’t know that from the judges’ wildly inaccurate guesses.

That they haven’t named ***** ***** as a potential Blob yet, for example, is insane; and if The Internet is right about who Viking is, it’s mad given last week’s song choice how none of the panel have even come close. Robin, as well, seems to be staring us right in the face.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the universally popular and controversy-free Rita Ora has spoken about how loads of viewers are so right and the panel are often so, so wrong.

“Some [viewers] have got the nail on the head, I don’t even know how,” she said.

“At the same time, you have to remember, I’m on set, panicking, sweating, in the moment figuring out these names, trying to think about who it could possibly be.

“Then here I am, looking at these responses on Twitter thinking, ‘How are you getting it so right?’ They’re comfortable, they’re figuring out all the things, and I’m like, ‘Argh’. Some people have got it literally after the first performance.”

She added: “For me, this season has some of the best vocalists in the world and I’m so insanely angry at myself that I didn’t get them right because they have the most insane tricks.”
