It’s been a year since Normani‘s last release – with Megan Thee Stallion on the excellent Diamonds – and now she’s finally appearing to tease some new music.

It is, as Sarah Harding once said, about time.

There’s nothing by way of release dates or anything, so don’t get too excited, but she appears to have been hard at work with The-Dream, aka Terius Nash, on new material – with the latter saying their collaborations sound “Fire ass fuck!”

Normani shared his excitement with a plethora of fire emojis.

The-Dream has of course worked with a shitload of legendary artists; among them Mariah Carey, Ciara, Brandy, Justin Bieber, Diddy, Mary J Blige, Beyoncé and… Tulisa.

He also, er, oversaw the entirety of Nicole Scherzinger’s Big Fat Lie album, but we won’t dwell on that.
