Putting aside the blockbusting fact that loads of the A*Teens discography is on Spotify from today, thanks to Pop Activism, there are some decent new bits and bobs to wrap your cold, cold ears around as well.

Most notably, Zara Larsson is back with Talk About Love, a Young Thung collaboration that will hopefully provide her first big, non-Kygo hit since Ruin My Life in late 2018. The video’s out later today, and she’s FINALLY confirmed on Twitter that her new album has a release date – which will be announced “very very very very soon”.

Zayn has also released a great vibey new single called… well, Vibez… ahead of its parent album next week; and Arlissa – whose Healing was a very near-miss on my Top 50 of 2020 – has dropped Rules. There’s a decent new tune from Charlotte Lawrence out; and I’m also throwing in this peppy little Ryan Mack ditty too.

Those five have all been added to my rolling 2021 playlist, which you can find on Spotify here (or below).

Elsewhere, Avril Lavigne‘s on the new song from MOD SUN but… well, it’s quite the racket, to be honest, so I’ve given that a wide berth. Also, I’m generally avoiding putting remixes on this particular playlist, but MUNA have done a good reswizzle of that recent Marina track – here. There are two Taylor Swift bonus tracks out now as well.
