Drag Race: Season 13 queens ranked by potential Instagram earnings

With RuPaul’s Drag Race returning for a 13th season (complete with a slightly exhausting episode one twist, but we won’t dwell on that), the contestants involved can expect their social media followings to skyrocket.

A study by SlotsUp has estimated how much each of the contestants could stand to earn online; taking into account their current Instagram follower count and – crucially – the engagement each of their posts currently gets.

Currently it seems Gottmik is the likely top earner – and could nab more than $1k for a sponsored post, if this research is accurate.

Symone (my personal early fave) is a loooong way behind in second place, with an estimated asking price of $608. Joey Jay is at the bottom, on $166. See the entire ranking below, but bear in mind it was compiled before the season aired – so all the numbers have likely increased considerably.

Last year, SlotsUp also looked at the top earners online from the entire Drag Race canon, which was qwhite interesting.

The full Top 10 is below:

  1. Gottmik – $1,075
  2. Symone – $607.5
  3. Kandy Muse – $528.75
