The first proper New Music Friday of 2021 is taking shape quite nicely: Zayn may well be joining Zara Larsson and Avril Lavigne on the release slates.

He’s taken to his socials to tease his new era: it’s just a short clip of a curtain raising, accompanied by what seems to be new music and the caption “TOMORROW”.

PopCrave has since said that the track is Vibez, it’s due on January 8 – and it’ll be just one week ahead of new album Nobody Is Listening, out January 15.

Zayn had a reasonably quiet 2020 music-wise, releasing only the song Better, which crept into the lower end of the UK and US charts. His second album Icarus Falls came out back in December 2018.

Nobody Is Listening is allegedly 11 tracks long – much more digestible than the super-epic Icarus Falls, which had 27.
