She’s been teasing new material for a little while now, and it’s finally here: Samantha Mumba has dropped her first song since 2014’s Only Just Begun.

COOL – which she wrote with Andrew Scott, Antonio Stapleton and Brandon Avery Smith – is a bit structurally different than your normal verse/chorus/bridge affair; and she told Dublin’s 98FM that her new material “is where I’m at now. I’m an adult, a woman, a wife, a mother… This is a little bit sexier, a little bit more fun.”
