Pop Quiz of the Decade

The Pop Quiz of the Decade took place at The Phoenix in central London on Sunday night, raising some lovely money for the Kaleidoscope Trust.

If you weren’t there, then A) you missed out, frankly; and B) you’re in luck now! Because a not-quite-as-good-but-better-than-nothing version is below, just for you.

It’s not all quite as-it-was on the IRL night: the teams weren’t given multiple choice options, for instance; and we also had a fuckload of song clips and interview audio, which I’ve replaced with literal words for the online version. There was also a whole other round on ‘Deep Cuts’, which involved the teams having to identify the albums that ten non-singles were from. I couldn’t figure out how to adapt that for the ~online ~quiz ~format, so it’s gone altogether from here.

Also! In the BONUS TABLE ROUND, the teams had to identify the author and the context of 10 iconic tweets from the last 10 years – you can see all of those and have a go yourself here.

Anyway have a little play below and see how you fare. If you want to chuck an extra couple of quid towards the excellent charity, you can do so here.
