In a surprise to no-one, 21 is the outright best-seller with 5.17 million; followed by 25 with 3.58 million.
Ed Sheeran occupies third, fourth and seventh place; with x, Divide and + respectively. Michael Buble’s Christmas is at No5, Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour is No6, Emeli Sande’s Our Version of Events is No8, Take That’s Progress is No9 and the Greatest Showman album is No10.
Other pop highlights further down: Rihanna’s Loud is No11, Lady Gaga’s The Fame is No15, Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream is No19, Taylor Swift’s 1989 is No25, One Direction’s Up All Night is No35, P!nk’s first Greatest Hits set from 2010 is No38 and Little Mix’s Glory Days is No39.
