There are two favourites to win The Circle tonight; no prizes for guessing

The Circle – potentially the GREATEST TELEVISION SHOW OF OUR TIME – wraps up its second season tonight with two clear frontrunners for the win, according to the bookies.

I mean I don’t know why I’ve tried clickbaiting this, it’s quite obvious who they are: Tim and Woody.

At time of writing, they’re both on 1/1 with SkyBet; comfortably ahead of third favourite Georgina on 12/1.

James-as-Sammie’s odds have gone into freefall: in the aftermath of a really, really remarkable week of exceptional (if terrifying and ruthless) game-playing, he’s been sent right down to 16/1, so clearly “punters” don’t rate his chances of nabbing the £100k.

And Paddy – who, God bless him, is pretty much making up the numbers tonight – is the 28/1 outsider.

I genuinely can’t decide who I want to win: Woody is the nicest all-round guy and James/Sammie has by far played the game the best (although we need to remember that Tim very firmly has him sussed, so he’s not quite done it to perfection); but I think Georgina has had the best arc across the whole series.

And I cannot wait to be able to go to bed at a sensible hour again next week, and not be too full of adrenaline to sleep until the early hours. Laughing face emoji, send.

P.S. I wrote a little something about it for Metro this week – read here.
