Brittany Runs A Marathon won the Audience award at the 2019 Sundance Festival and currently has 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. The trailer looks really good!

Jillian Bell stars here as Brittany; a New Yorker whose doctor tells her to lose weight. Alarm bells are probably ringing at this point that we could be in I Feel Pretty territory, but – by the looks of the trailer, at least – it looks like a good feelgood film with a sensible brain and lots of heart.

Says the Rotten Tomatoes consensus: “Like its progressively more fleet-footed protagonist, Brittany Runs a Marathon gets to the finish line in idiosyncratic yet richly rewarding fashion.”
