Rumours that Cheryl will be a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK have been confirmed, and with Twiggy also on the bill, that brings the total up to seven.

There’ll be eight eps of the first British season of the increasingly exhausting show (we also have another All Stars on the way, kids!); and assuming the finale will have the same “family only” scenario as the US, this could be your lot as far as guest judges are concerned, unless they have more than one:

  • Maisie Williams
  • Geri Horner
  • Jade Thirlwall
  • Andrew Garfield
  • Michaela Coel
  • Cheryl
  • Twiggy

It’s worth noting that Emma Bunton was previously rumoured for a slot but hasn’t been properly announced yet, but she could probably double-up with Geri.

On top of that, Alan Carr and Graham Norton will be sharing permanent fixture status, with Michelle Visage and Ru on hand the whole time. It doesn’t look like the cast will be unveiled until September, with a premiere expected in the autumn.

Cheryl – who will apparently witness a lip sync to Call My Name – tweeted: “I am SO excited to tell you that I will be a guest judge on the first ever series of @dragraceukbbc !! …I am such a huge fan of the show and can not wait to watch our UK queens make their mark! Coming soon to @bbcthree Gentlemen Start your engines and may the best woman win!”

Twiggy said in a statement: “You see the most gorgeous women in the most glamorous outfits. I love the creativity of the clothes and the make-up.”

Look this is all great but the important thing is that Jade is FINALLY going to be on the show; fuck me it’s taken long enough.
